Creating your first Course

1. Open Alva Courses via the Shopify Admin panel and select "Create Course"
2. On the New Course page we can see all the options required to get started creating the course.
- Title + Description - Set the main details of your course. The title and description will be visible to potential students.
- Pricing - Choose a pricing model for your course. Free courses are accessible to all, Free With Account requires user registration, and One Time Purchase requires purchase of a product to view the course.
- Course Image - An image to be the display picture for the course
- Color Scheme - This color will be used in various UI elements to create a cohesive visual identity for your course.
- Published - Determine whether your course is live and available for enrollment or if it's hidden from potential students.
- Certificate - Enable or disable course completion certificates. Certificates can incentivize students to complete the course.
- Comments - Enable or disable comments for this course. Comments can encourage student engagement and discussion.
3. Provide the information and select settings as required and click "create"
4. Alva Courses will set up the course and direct you to the new, empty Course page
You are now ready to start creating your course content!
